Revenues from 3-5 star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman witnessed an 18.2 percent increase, reaching approximately OMR141,210,000 by the end of June 2025, compared to approximately OMR119,501,000 by the end of June 2024.

Data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information showed that hotels with a 3-5 star rating in the Sultanate of Oman witnessed a 9.2 percent increase in the number of guests until the end of June 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, as the total number of guests reached 1,142,702, compared to 1,046,224 guests during the same period of the previous year.

Statistics indicated an increase in the occupancy rate in hotels classified as (3-5) stars until the end of June 2025 by 14.4 percent, reaching 54.7 percent, compared to 47.8 percent during the same period in 2024.

As for the distribution of guests by nationality until the end of June 2025, Oceanian guests led the growth rate with an increase of 57.9 percent, reaching 24,681 guests, followed by African nationalities with a percentage of 40.6 percent, with a number of guests reaching 7,794 guests.

The number of guests from the Americas also increased by 22.3 percent to reach 39,293 guests, while the number of European guests witnessed a 20.1 percent increase to reach 358,190.

The number of Gulf guests recorded a 10.6 percent increase, reaching 83,140 guests, while the number of Omani guests recorded a 5.7 percent increase to reach 384,222 by the end of June 2025.

Asian nationalities witnessed a 2.4 percent increase, with the number of guests reaching 163,286.

In contrast, statistics showed a 1.4 percent decrease in the number of residents of other Arab nationalities, reaching 48,453.
