Mission:

Providing geospatial information and services for all groups in Oman society through a unified and standardized geospatial infrastructure built using comprehensive framework of integrated policies, standers and legislation.

 

Strategic goals:

ONSDI Strategy sets group of goals to boost the usability of the geospatial information and accomplish the ONSDI vision by following the international best practices.as below:

1- Establish ONSDI Governance Structure

2- Develop National Capabilities for Shared GeoSpatial Services

3- Create National GeoSpatial Database and Make it available securely

4- Nationwide GeoSpatial Knowledge Enhancement and Capacity Building

5- Geo enable is the most important basis on which the electronic government transformation.
