Based on the fact that the National Centre for Statistics and Information is the official authority responsible and involved in the collection of information and data, and under the terms of reference and responsibilities set by the Royal Decree No. 40/2014 and pursuant to the Royal Decree No. 29/2001 promulgating the Statistical Law and under Article (4) of this Decree, which stipulating that any party wishes to carry out any survey should obtain prior written permission.

What Are The Steps To Request The Service?
Those who are wishing to implement a survey or poll shall follow these steps: 1) Login to Center’s Portal. 2) Fill in the electronic form and submit it. Note that the governmental and private institutions have to register by using the smart cards, while individuals, students and academics can login by using their civil identity number.
What Documents Are Needed?
Transaction completion requires only a verification of full electronic form fields are met and provide contact addresses of the applicant, and must be accompanied by an official letter from the implementing agency in addition to the survey or poll questionnaire form.
How Long Does It Take?
Application will be studied and reply within a maximum period of 10 working days, we also note that approval, if issued, cannot be used to force the respondents to give their statements. Approval document that has been issued from the National Center for Statistics and Information must be presented to the respondents, if requested. The Centre shall be entitled to get a copy of the outcomes and data, after completion of the project the Center will provide the implementing entity with an official letter, in case of approval.
