The revenues of 3-5-star hotels in Oman stood at RO 79,430 million until the end of March 2025, up by 10.6% compared to RO 71,804 million at the end of March 2024.
Statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show that the total number of hotel guests rose by 2.3% to 610,176 guests by the end of March 2025, compared to 596,366 guests during the corresponding period in 2024. Meanwhile, hotel occupancy rate registered a growth of 8.3%.
According to the NCSI report, among nationalities, Europeans topped the number of guests in hotels, with their numbers reaching 232,986 (up by 7.5%). As many as 171,809 were Omani guests (a drop of 9.1%), and 87,210 were Asian guests' citizens (up by 10.1%).
The number of guests from GCC countries reached 37,646 (up by 18.2%), guests from Oceanian reached 13,098 (up by 50.9%). The number of African guests reached reach 4,633 (up by 70.7%).
