Dr. Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Barwani, Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) , is taking part in a panel discussion titled by the "Strengthening the Relationship Between Statistical Institutions and Data Users" at the Saudi Statistical Forum.
The event, hosted by Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Statistics, runs from April 27 to 28, 2025, to mark the Authority's 65th anniversary.
During the panel discussion , His Excellency the CEO of NCSI highlighted THE Sultanate of Oman's experience—represented by the National Centre for Statistics and Information—in implementing electronic integration among various government institutions. He underscored how this initiative has significantly improved the speed and accuracy of data provision, as well as contributing to greater efficiency in terms of time, effort, and financial cost.
Dr. Al-Barwani further showcased the NCSI's pioneering practices in promoting the role of statistics in decision-making. He detailed the initiatives aimed at strengthening partnerships with data users by making statistical information widely accessible through various modern technological channels—contributing directly to the renewed development vision of Oman.
