The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), today 5th May 2024, kicked off the 2nd edition of the opinion poll on satisfaction with government services across the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, and will last to 30th May 2024.
The Survey aims to measure satisfaction with government services provided by governors' offices in general and the municipal services, as well as measuring the extent to which satisfaction with these services has changed in each governorate, compared to the outputs of the first edition of the same survey, which was implemented by NCSI at the end of 2023.
Through the outputs of the survey, NCSI will calculate six basic indicators for each governorate, including the general satisfaction index, the satisfaction index of hygiene and public health services in the governorate, the satisfaction index of the governorate's efforts in market management and control, the satisfaction index of the governorate's development efforts, the satisfaction index of the management and maintenance of parks, public parks, and the satisfaction index of electronic government services in governors' offices.
It is worth noting that, NCSI implements this survey on a semi-annual basis, where the survey data is collected through electronic questionnaires that are completed via telephone interviews - (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing, CATI).
NCSI points out that, the communications are being conducted through the phone number (24219000), during the official working hours from 8 am. to 2 pm, for a random sample of males and females Citizens ,in age category of (18 years and above ) , that representative of all governorates, while the sample is being selected in accordance with scientific statistical methodologies.
The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), also emphasized that, all individual data is considered confidential data and will only be used for statistical purposes, which is a right guaranteed by the Statistics and Information Law, promulgated by Royal Decree No (55/2019).
