The number of residential lands granted to the citizens of Oman by the end of April reached 8,990 plots in all the governorates of Oman, compared to 12,937 plots at the end of April 2018, as revealed by the (NCSI) recently.
The released data show that the plots granted during April 2019 reached 2,509, with 28.6% of this allotted for the governorate of Ad-Dakhliyah, which is the highest among governorates in Oman.The number of residential plots granted in the governorate of Ad-Dakhliyah at the end of April 2019 reached 2,624 plots, compared to 2,984 plots at the end of April 2018. The people of Muscat governorate have been granted 1,392 plots in the same period, compared to 1,055 plots at the end of April 2018, while the citizens of the governorate of Ash-Sharqiah North have been granted 1,034 plots, compared to 2,031 plots at the end of April 2018. The residential plots granted in the governorate of Ash-Sharqiah South reached 949 plots, compared to 1,055 plots at the end of April 2018, and 935 plots for the people of the governorate of Al Buraymi, compared to 66 plots at the end of April 2018.
The residential plots granted in the governorate of Al Batinah South reached 855 plots, compared to 2,117 plots granted at the end of April 2018. In the governorate of Al Batinah North (excluding the Wilayat of Sohar), the number of plots granted reached 238, compared to 430 plots at the end of April 2018. The NCSI data also reveal that the residential lands granted number in Musandam reached 395 plots at the end of April 2019, compared to 6 plots at the end of April 2018. The governorate of Al Wusta was granted 267 plots in the same period, compared to 409 plots at the end of April 2018. The governorate of Dhofar recorded 205 plots granted in April 2019, compared to 337 plots at the same period of 2018. The residential land granted in the governorate of Adh-Dhahirah reached 96 plots at the end of April 2019, compared to 2,447 plots at the end of April 2018.
