The statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicated that the production of refineries and petroleum industries companies at the Sultanate reached 48 million and 760 thousand barrels at the end of last July with an increase rate of 2.2% compared to the production recorded during the same period of 2014; which reached 47 million and 698 thousand barrels. The statistics indicated that the production of regular gasoline reached one million, 410 thousand and 700 barrels with a decrease rate of (32%) compared to the figures recorded during the same period of 2014; which witnessed the production of two million, 73 thousand and 400 barrels. The production of the premium gasoline till last July reached 13 million, 213 thousand and 100 barrels with a 5.7% increase compared to the figures recorded during the same period of 2014; which witnessed the production of 12 million, 495 thousand and 600 barrels. The Sultanate produced two million, 882 thousand and 200 barrels of jet fuel with a 4.5% decrease compared to the figures recorded during the same period of 2014; which witnessed the production of two million, 757 thousand and 700 barrels. The production of gas oil (diesel) increased with 13% to reach till last July 12 million, 448 thousand and 900 barrels compared to 11 million and21 thousand barrels produced during the same period of 2014. The fuel oil production also decreased with 0.4% to reach one million, 349 thousand and 600 barrels compared to one million, 335 thousand and 500 barrels recorded during the same period of 2014. Oman produced two million, 109 thousand and 600 barrels of the liquefied petroleum gas till last July with a 2.8% decrease; compared to the figures recorded during same period of 2014; which reached two million, 170 thousand and 600 barrels. The production of liquidation wastes also decreased with 5.9% logging 10 million, 967 thousand and 500 barrels at the end of last July compared to 11 million and 661 thousand and 100 barrels produced during the same period of 2014. The production of propylene reached one million, 599 thousand and 600 barrels with an increase rate of 10.2 compared to the production recorded in 2014; which reached two million, 451 thousand and 800 barrels. The production of naphtha reached two million, 242 thousand and 600 barrels with an increase rate of 10.3% compared to the figures recorded during the same period of 2014; which reached two million, 33 thousand and 200 barrels. As for the other products, fuels and uses of refineries; their production decreased with 20.9% to log 536 thousand and 300 barrels till the end of last July compared to 678 thousand barrels produced during the same period of 2014.
