The total traded value of the real estate activities recorded till the end of June 2015 reached two billion, 231 million and 700 Thousand Omani Riyals with a 45.9% hike compared to the figures recorded during the same period of 2014; which witnessed a traded value of one billion, 529 million and 100 Thousand Omani Riyals, according to the statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information. The collected fees of all the legal transactions reached 25 million and 600 Thousand Omani Riyals with an increase of 12.8%. The traded value of the sales contracts increased also with 4.7% to reach 649 million and 600 thousand Omani Riyals. The number of selling contracts has witnessed a 4.8% decline to record 42 thousand and 261 contracts compared to 44 thousand and 395 contracts during the same period of 2014. The traded value of the mortgage contracts logged a 10.2% increase also to reach 11 thousand and 585 contracts; compared to 10 thousand and 514 contracts recorded till the end of June 2014. The value of exchange contracts logged a 143.5% increase till the end of June 2015 by reaching 11 million and 200 thousand Omani Riyals till the end of last June; compared to the value recorded during the same period of 2014; which reached 4 million and 600 thousand Omani Riyals. The number of exchange contracts has also recorded an increase of 6.5% to reach 703 contracts by the end of last June; compared to 660 contracts recorded during the same period of 2014. The statistics showed also that 126 thousand and 828 title deeds have been issued by the end of last June with a 5.8% increase; compared to the figures recorded during the same period of 2014; which reached 119 thousand and 849 title deeds. The number of title deeds issued for the GCC Countries' nationals witnessed a 27% decrease by the end of last June to reach one thousand and 354 title deeds; compared to one thousand and 854 title deeds recorded during the same period of 2014.
