The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) began to conduct the fourth round of an opinion poll measuring Omanis’ impressions about some services offered by the government and the level of their assessment of the services of the government institutions where they work.
The fourth round of the opinion poll includes an upgrade of the methodology of assessment based on five criteria: Assessing the ease and speed of procedures related to government services, the fees, service quality and service providers.
The opinion polls, to continue till 15 April 2021, also measures citizens’ feeling of security and their evaluation of the level of fairness in applying policies and providing government services.
The poll targets citizens aged 18 and above and it covers a cross-section of 1,500 individuals selected randomly from all governorates of the Sultanate.
The number meets with general trends and it offers an opportunity to seek views at the level of population of the Sultanate, as well as the governorate-based level, with an error margin of 3% and a confidence percentage of 95%.
