Kicks off on Monday events business forum on industrial information and statistics in the Arab countries, under the patronage of His Excellency Sultan bin Salim bin Said Al Habsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning Chairman of the Board of the (NCSI) Management which will be held at the Al Bustan Hall Oman Council through from 17 to 10/19/2016.​

The forum aims, organized by the National Center for Statistics and Information in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development and Mining and the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), which came under the slogan (the role of statistical information in decision-making) to activate the role of statistics in the correct setting development plans and decision support and encourage studies and research scientific based on official statistics. In addition to the rehabilitation of statistical data was collated and published the latest tools in a timely manner. And the development of statistical skills, knowledge and capacity building in the field of statistics. The forum also aims to ensure the provision of electronic services according to quality, efficiency and transparency standards as well as the exchange of scientific and practical experiences and presentation of statistical tests in the public and private sectors.
