Inflation rate rises by 0.6% in March 2025
The inflation rate in the Sultanate of Oman rose by 0.6% in March 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, with the base year 2018, according to data from the Consumer Price Index (CPI) issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).According to the data, there was an increase in prices for miscellaneous goods and services groups by 6.1%, health group by 3.2%, transportation group by 1.7%, restaurants and hotels group by 0.7%, clothing and footwear group by 0.5%, recreation and culture group by 0.3%, furnishing, household equipment, and routine household maintenance group by 0.3% and education group by 0.1%.
