• Presentation Summary: With the increase access to high-speed internet and rapid expansion of delivery companies providing overnight door-to-door mail and parcel services Postal entities today are under pressure to ensure efficient and effective postal services. By not embracing the latest location-based technologies Postal entities will according to UPU inevitably loose market share and even be threatened in their existence. This session will show how GIS today can and are supporting postal entities with delivery planning, operations and other postal services.
