Definition:

The percentage of Omanis working in various private sector institutions from the total number of employees in the sector in a specific period of time. Since the exact number of nationals working in the private sector can be found only through census,the number of Omanis registered in the Public Authority of Social Insurance is used as an approximation

(Total Number of Omanis in the private sector ) / (Workers in the private sector of Omanis and expatriates ( 15 years and above )) × 100
